Song of the Day 8/30/2013 “The Warning”

Woah, Nine Inch Nails doesnt get much better then this. Well…it might but this is a sleeper hit and this particular video is fucking amazing. I’m sorry for swearing but it’s just a simple that it is. The Warning is from Year Zero, and it’s a dreary climatic song that Trent Reznor finds himself really attacking in a lot of ways.
Trent Reznor is a genius, it’s pretty simple and true. He can score movies, make aggressive industrial metal and synth heavy alternative rock that crosses the lines of experimental. Plus his side project took him in a whole new direction.
The Warning is an example that Trent still has got it, he really does. This song is brilliant and so is this performance. I’m lucky enough to be going to see NIN in New York City at the Barclays Center. I’m spending over four hundred dollars on two tickets, i spent less money to see Keane (My Favorite band). This is going to be one of the greatest days of my life. Nine Inch Nails have brilliant Live performances that surpass expectations. In Fact i could sit here and watch them on Youtube all day (Trust me I’ve done it.) I know i dont have a life…
Back to the Warning, the live version is ten times better then the version on Year Zero so watch and enjoy a genius at work!
