Drums Next Door

I’ve been to my own gravesite in my mind
When the winds were so strong
For you and I to stay together, but don’t have any fear

Hold me closer and I’ll take us home
Before then let our minds roam

To conquer the wall in between our love and his admiration

Dedicated to all the broken hearts

And the ones waiting to break

And for god’s sake don’t peel away
When you don’t have the best of days
What’s at play is the fate of the only world that matters, yours

If you stay alive long enough to drive fast cars and pick up white girls at a Copenhagen bar

Playing drums to your favorite song

Right before your unbeknownst swan song
When the barrel of life’s gun points between your eyes
Will you cry or look at all the beauty that conquered the pain
Will you cower, because you had more love to gain

Or will my days that remain
Be smeared by self destruction

Celebrities and Politicians

Celebrities and Politicians tell us their opinion
They spoil the fun and add predictability to the ending
Im still sinning in favor of a short life, but i’ll live long…hopefully
I imagine myself with you on starry nights
While i’m standing alone
On the corner
In the rain
Black Vietnam and it’s 2014, and if you don’t know what I mean then you should split from this naturally poetic and violently ill scene
With extras and a few fiends
The video shows a time when we weren’t as keen
On the insanity of being willing to lose your life over some stupid shit
L-O-R-D shit, celebrities and politicians give us their wits
And we listen to their nasty little fits
We listen to them as they change their kits
And we just sit, to hear debauchery in vocabulary, and when your itinerary begins disappear and the phone rings
I get money, the chorus begins to sing
Guess who is back, The newest author who is young and black
Feeling a certain type of way trying to write up what you lack
Feeling the urge to slack but then I wouldn’t be getting the keys to the city in twenty years, bringing some pride back to New Haven
Bestseller for my other peers who told me I couldn’t do it
Made it for those who said i couldn’t make it through hell
Nightmares as the devils son like L
Getting back up if I fell in the present tense , weighing pounds for pence and hence, I’m living foul for all that I did awhile back

Tiny (Poem)

I think you’ve got the big picture

I’ve got no real future

This is a house of cards and a world of whores

I lost myself before I could begin and its killing me

I’ve been trying to find my way uptown but I realized Life is a sadistic game, nothing more

I became part of a statistic, as society cleaned up the mess of the boy who went ballistic

Wrap your arms around me, this is an open relationship

And we live under the sun

And below the blue moon

But we can’t run yet

What do we live for when our lives come crumbling down

Subliminal pleasure and deafening sounds

But you’ve got the picture, I’ve got no future

When she knocked me over, I restarted my verse

 She sprouted chauvinistic

So what do I say first?

I love you please so adopt my emotions and help me fight the curse

 To be Alive, to Scream

I don’t want to lose myself twice so take me to the enemy so demise can end tragically

I lived my life, emphatically

Where you in the glee inside my hearse

Your lashing was the worse I was satisfied but focused on being better than everyone else, wanting to discover the distance between you and me

Patiently waiting for this to be a joke because my life was being lived inside you.

Teeming (Poem)

DBT, EBT, Fast Money and Drugs
No Sex, death and some bugs

I’ve been to the fields and I’ve dug

For an answer to the question of life

Inside thoughts, dementia and clutch plays
Oh girl I could stare at you for days
Some people look for five figures, I’d settle for at least six
Because in America if you aren’t making money you are a jerk off
People are programmed to be normal
So pull down your pants and cough
Years of waiting makes some soft but I’m just working to get that French Loft

My inspiration used to kill my liver

A young boy imagining being dead in a river

But that imagination is what kept me going
And that’s what keeps the words flowing
Dreaming of flying first class on a Boeing to England
All work and no play will make Anthony a rich man
And after all the hell I put my mother through

I hope one day I can make her skies blue
